In today’s video, we’re diving into the world of WordPress and Elementor to show you how to seamlessly integrate an Instagram widget into your website. Whether you’re a seasoned developer or just starting out, this tutorial will guide you through the process step by step, and best of all, it won’t cost you a penny.
- Accessing the Plugin Section:
Log in to your WordPress dashboard. From the left-hand menu, navigate to the “Plugins” section and click on “Add New.” - Installing the Plugin:
In the search bar on the right, type in “Instagram Feed” and press enter. Locate the plugin with over a million active installations, then click on “Install” followed by “Activate.” - Launching the Setup Wizard:
Once activated, a setup wizard for the Instagram Feed plugin will appear. Follow the prompts to connect your Instagram account to the plugin. Choose between a personal or business account as per your preference. - Adding a New Feed:
After connecting your Instagram account, go to the “Instagram Feed” option in the left-hand menu. Click on “All Feeds” and then “Add New.” - Selecting Feed Options:
Choose the “User Timeline” option and proceed. You’ll be redirected to connect with Smash Balloon, the provider of the plugin. Follow the authentication steps to link your Instagram account. - Customizing Feed Settings:
Now, it’s time to customize your Instagram feed. Adjust settings such as feed layout, feed height, number of posts per page, and more to achieve the desired look and feel. - Choosing Color Theme:
Customize the color theme to match your website’s aesthetic. Select from light, dark, or custom themes to seamlessly blend your Instagram feed with your site’s design. - Fine-Tuning Feed Elements:
Customize the header, images, and videos, load more buttons, and follow button settings to suit your preferences. - Generating Shortcode:
Once satisfied with the customization, click on the “Embed” button to generate the shortcode. Copy the shortcode provided. - Embedding the Instagram Feed:
Navigate to the page where you want to display your Instagram feed within Elementor. Add a new section or widget and paste the shortcode into the appropriate field. - Saving Changes:
