Create Subscription Product Using Surecart – WooCommerce Alternative

Hello everyone! Welcome to WebSensePro and another tutorial video. In this video, I’ll show you how to create a subscription-based product using SureCart, a WooCommerce alternative. Whether you’re selling WordPress management services, SEO services, or any other subscription service, SureCart simplifies the process significantly compared to WooCommerce or Shopify.

Step 1: Setting Up a Test WordPress Environment with ZipWP

First, we will use ZipWP to create a fresh WordPress install for free. Navigate to try.new and wait a few seconds for the WordPress environment to be set up.

Step 2: Installing and Activating SureCart Plugin

Next, go to Plugins > Add New in your WordPress dashboard, search for SureCart, and click Install Now followed by Activate.

Step 3: Creating Your First Subscription Product

Click on Add a Product and name your product (e.g., “WordPress Management Services”).

Step 4: Adding Product Title, Description, and Images

Add a detailed product description using ChatGPT if needed. Include a comprehensive list of the services offered. Use Bing Image Generator to create and upload relevant images.

Step 5: Setting One-Time Payment Pricing

Add a price option, select One-Time Payment, and set the price (e.g., $100) and compare it to the regular price (e.g., $120).

Step 6: Setting Monthly Subscription Pricing

Add another price option, select Subscription, and set the monthly price (e.g., $50) and compare it to the regular price (e.g., $60).

Step 7: Setting Annual Subscription Pricing with Free Trial

Add another price option, select Subscription, and set the annual price (e.g., $500) with a comparison price (e.g., $600). Offer a 15-day free trial to attract customers.

Step 8: SEO Optimization for Product Page

Set the meta title and description for better search engine visibility. Ensure the image names and alt texts are SEO-friendly.

Step 9: Previewing the Product Page

Preview the product page to ensure all details are correctly displayed. Check the pricing options and overall layout.

Step 10: Testing the Purchase Process

Add the product to the cart and proceed to checkout to test the purchase process.

Conclusion
Ensure all features are working as expected. Prepare for advanced tutorials, like creating bump offers and upsells.
