In this video, I’ll show you how you can seamlessly connect your Shopify store with Instagram and Facebook. By following this tutorial, you’ll gain the ability to create a product catalog on both Facebook and Instagram, allowing you to sell your products directly through these social media platforms. Additionally, you’ll be able to create ads right from your Shopify dashboard. So, if you’re ready to take your e-commerce game to the next level, stick with me throughout this video.

Step 1: Set Up Your Business Facebook Account

Before we can connect Shopify with Facebook and Instagram, you need to ensure that you have a business Facebook account. If you haven’t created one yet, head over to business.facebook.com to set it up. Make sure to link your Facebook page and Instagram account to this business account.

Step 2: Access the Shopify App Store

Next, log in to your Shopify backend. Once logged in, click on “Apps” in the left-hand menu. In the search bar, type “Facebook” and press Enter. This will take you to the Shopify App Store, where you’ll find the Facebook and Instagram app. Alternatively, you can use the direct link provided in the video description: Shopify.com/Facebook-Instagram.

Step 3: Add the Sales Channel

Click on “Login to Install.” You will be directed to your store screen, where you can select the store you want to install the app for, in case you have multiple stores. Click on the desired store.

Once the app is installed, you’ll see the option to “Add Channel.” Click on this to start the authorization process.

Step 4: Connect Your Facebook Account

Click on “Start Setup” and then “Connect Account.” Ensure that you are already logged in using business.facebook.com before clicking on “Connect Account.” A dialogue box will appear, asking for permission to connect the Shopify app with Facebook. Click “Continue.”

Step 5: Choose Your Facebook Account

Select the Facebook business account and page that you want to connect with Shopify. If you have only one account and page, this step may be simplified for you. Click “Save.”

Step 6: Review Data Sharing

You’ll be shown a summary of the data that will be shared between Shopify and Facebook. This includes information like page and product views, items added to the cart, and customer click ID. Review this information and click “Save.”

Step 7: Connect Your Facebook Pixel

If you have a Facebook pixel set up, select it from the list. The Facebook pixel is crucial for tracking user behavior and optimizing your ads’ performance. Click “Connect” to link your pixel.

Step 8: Agree to Catalog Terms

After connecting your pixel, you’ll need to agree to Facebook’s product catalog terms. Click “I agree” and then “Submit for Review.” This step may take a minute or two to finalize.

Step 09: Start Creating Ads

Congratulations! Your Facebook and Instagram accounts are now successfully connected with your Shopify store. If you want to create ads directly from Shopify, click on “Create Ad.” You’ll be taken to Facebook’s ad creation interface.

Step 10: Explore Your Product Catalog

Within the Facebook ad manager, you’ll find the product catalog that Shopify automatically created for you. You can access it and view your products for sale.

Step 11: Start Creating Ads

Below the catalog, you can find the ad section. You can create ads for the products listed in your Facebook shop. Simply click “Create Ad” and follow the steps to target your audience and set up your ad.

That’s it for this tutorial, folks! You’re now equipped with the knowledge to seamlessly connect your Shopify store with Facebook and Instagram.
